BRETHERTONS!

After Disneyland we headed south to my sisters house. This is when the real vaca began.

Love how these 2 get a long. Cousins are built in friends. 

We had a lot of sleep to catch up on and WOW did we sleep. 

How cute is the girls room? Love it!

We pretty much bombed Tonya's kitchen. Trader Joe's is right around the corner and it was just after Christmas so pretty much EVERYTHING you could find was totally delectable and very bad for you. Haha. 

Hamilton kept Joey busy and in good spirits. 

The Panini maker was fired up and it all was so so good!

These two things are all my kids could talk about.

I want to write so much about this post but I think it is all the typical stuff and mom/aunty would say.Love all these kids so much, love when they are so happy, they make me so happy, etc. you know, that kind of stuff!

My faorite part of our whole California trip.

 The boys did their thing on the grill. The stake was good but Jamie's grilled peppers were the best!

The kids had a night swim.

I made Hamilton some muddy buddies.

The kids played and played and all got along so well.

I LOVE being with family. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Thank you Tomya and Jamie for having us. LOVE YOU GUYS!

Even thought it was promised....Disneyland was NOT the happiest place on earth for my family.

Yes, there are smiles in these pics and there was some fun being experienced. But on the first and second day.... I really just wanted to smack some kids. My sister and her family joined us and that was the best part for me and my whole family. But everyone was not on board when it came to having fun. Joey couldn't handle his upset about not being on a snowboard at Brian Head with all his friends (which by the way had no snow to snowboard on). My nephew Hamilton hates amusement parks, Nifae decided at the age of 7 that he wanted to act like the big boys and cop an attitude the whole time and thought everything was "boring". All 3 of my kids asked multiple times a day for 3 day, "Can we just say at the hotel? Can we go back to the hotel now? can we leave and go swimming at the hotel? When are we going to Aunty Tonya's house? Why do we have to stay here and not at Aunty Tonya's house? etc" It blew my mind. Aunty Tonya's house would have been SOOOOO much cheaper. Why why why do we do this to ourselves? Lilia had to use every bathroom in the park. Then Joey got his 17 year old self lost in the part so all Tommy and his mom could think about was him and spent the whole night looking for him and worrying about him while I took all 4 kids around DL by myself. Oh, did I mention the park was at capacity on these days? One ray of sunshine was that my niece Kennedy got to stay with us for the rest of the days and she was so great to have around. She kept my kids happy and positive. By day 3 we all got our act together and had a ball. We got to ride every single ride that we wanted to (in both parks) saw about 22 Characters. Also, World of Color made us all feel the love again.  All 5 kids were happy and made some great memories after all.
Betcha didn't see that coming, did ya?

The day we split up...

Tommy took  Owen, Nifae and Kennedy to California adventure, Joey was at DL riding Single Rider like a mad man. I was in DL with Lilia doing all the princess stuff and Tommy's mom was resting at the hotel. Everyone enjoyed that day the most. What does that tell you about us? :/

Disney Christmas Parade

It was 2 days after Christmas but you would have thought it was Christmas Eve. The kids were pooped an getting onery but when this parade started everyone, Young and Old, got so excited. My sister Tonya found us a spot where the parade turns and no one was across from us. So all the characters looked our way the whole time and interacted with us. The kids were so mesmerized but Tommy takes the cake because he compleatly fell in love with Belle. Hahah!

Toon Town

When we got there is was Ca-RazY! Way too busy and hot.
We came back at night and had the place to ourselves. The kids rode over and over and ran all over like they owned the place. We met Micky at his house but I will ahve to find the pics from my cel phone.
