Learning to tie his shoes
Most kids at his age know how to do this already but it's not his fault. We are a slipper family and barefoot family. He is a little cutie and I love that he is learning new things.
Cute pic! I don't think most kids know how to tie shoes before kindergarten. William was motivated right before kindergarten because he wanted tie shoes for school. Charlie could not be harassed into learning before kindergarten. Then it was assigned as homework for a week by the teachers. We got as far as crossing the strings, making bunny ears and crossing those. To tuck it under is still beyond his patience level. We just went shoe shopping. The velcro sketchers died. I bought vans slip ons for summer. If the kid is motivated, go for it. I just didn't want to make it an issue with Char. We already have enough sticking points.

Tonight Tommy's cousin Tule Iloa shared a challenge from her son, Elder
Iloa, who is serving a mission for the church of Jesus Christ of Latterday
Saints....

Love to hear what other kids do and when. He is still trying so I pray that he chooses slippers when we are in a hurry! LOL
