Explorers

The field behind our house has lots of interesting things. The boys love to explore and pretend they are farm boys.

"JD! JD!'

That's all you can hear when this boys walks in the door. He is the son of Jim & Susie and the kids love him! After a while JD get's pooped out and I have to out a ban on tackling him or shouting his name:)

Another random thought frmo Owen:

Owen, " Thinking is so boring! I sick of thinking."

oh this boy....

He has changed so much this year. All day kindergarten has started to take it's toll. I miss my baby so much.
He is reading and writing everything. He is so excited to learn and says he loves math. He growing taller everyday.

Along with all the good changes comes the not so great changes. He is more moody and whiny. He is no longer my great helper. He doesn't like to talk as much as he did. And all of the sudden he can't stand to see people kiss. When someone on TV kisses he dives for cover and is grossed out. This is so shocking to me cause we are a huggy huggy kissy kissy family.
Anyway, kids in his class have girlfriends and boyfriends. He hates to talk about it and his friend told me a girl in their class has a crush on him. HE DOES NOT WANT TO DISCUSS IT.

Anyway, I know this is how it goes but i did not expect it to happen over night.
He still lets us call him by his nick name, Bum Bum. I wonder when he will put a stop to that?

I love him very much and want the absolute best for him.

Even though this is a picture of Elijah I told him that I am sure Jesus is about that tall, too.

She a big girl now!

She did it! She is officially potty trained. No more diapers for this big girl.

It was not easy but it only took 3 days. I am so proud of this little girlie! Love you, Lills!

Here is an explanation on this last video if you need one:

Tommy is laying down because he is waiting for his wax to dry.
He first tries to pull Joey's wax out and his hand slips.
He tries again and the stick breaks....
Finally getting it on a third and very painful attempt.

As you can see I was trying to make the bed when these hairy nosed weirdo crashed my room.

O boy! A conversation with O:

Owen sits in front of a blank paper with a pen in his hand.

O: "Mom, I wanna write a list."

Me: "Like a Christmas List to Santa?"

O: "YEAH!!!! Ok....."
Thinking, thinking.....


O: "How do you spell Sorry?"



Apparently he has been stressing about a fight he and Nifae had a while back. After I helped him spell out s o r r y.... he told me he should probably write a note to Jesus, too.

This boy keeps us all smiling.
